It is November and I know fall decorations take priority over the gardens. But this morning while taking a walk, I cruised through the gardens to check for any late producing vegetables. If you came by a visit and missed me, I was on all fours grazing on the beautiful bed of kale that had a growth spurt this week from all the rain! Sweet and tender kale will be included in my smoothie for breakfast!
I don’t use the scales for my weight. I can tell by the way I feel and the way my clothes fit if I have gained weight. But the more important issue is not how much I weigh, but my overall health. The status of my health today and my risk of diseases in the future depends on several things. And making better food choices is definitely a key factor in my ability to live a healthy lifestyle…
