Beer Bread

Beer Bread – The easiest bread you will ever make!

3 cups self-rising flour
3 Tbsp. white sugar
1 (12 oz.) bottle of beer
1/4 cup melted butter

Mix together the flour and sugar, mixing well. Make a well in the middle of the flour mixture and pour in the beer. Stir with a wooden spoon just to mix the ingredients. Do not over mix or you will have tough bread.

Mixture will be sticky. Pour into a lightly greased 9×5 loaf pan. Place a little flour on your hands and pat bread evenly into the pan. Pour the melted butter over the top of the dough mix.

Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 45 to 60 minutes. Time will vary according to your oven.

Fun to experiment with different types of beer; different beers create different flavors to the bread.
