The sweetest cat ever!

Just gotta’ get in the picture!

Repurposing things that appear to have no value and recycling them into works of art is one of my passions. The old rotors are a good example.

Stashed in a corner next to the garage, leftover from some work my husband had done on his car, they were waiting for me to repurpose them. They had been there for quite some time.

Each time I walked past them, I racked my brain to decide how I could put the old parts to use. Finally, one day while walking through the Azalea Garden entrance, an idea came to mind. The post at the entry to the garden was the perfect place to use the old rotors.

Gathering all the tools necessary, including a drill, round finials from my repurpose stash, and the rotors, within fifteen minutes, my project was complete.

Guests to the garden are surprised as they discover the rotors used at the entrance of a garden trail. The repurposed rotors are the subject of many conversations about recycling.

I think the rotors have weathered very well in my garden. Do you have an unusual repurpose project you have completed?
