Friday Focus: Up Close and Personal
In life, as in photography, we develop some of our most treasured friendships when we are willing to get “up close and personal” with others and build relationships that are more than just a casual encounter. Are you willing to take the risk?
Relationships Part 1: The People in Our Life
I have a mix of friends from every walk of life. I appreciate what I learn from each one. Sometimes I discover what “to do” and other times, it is what “not to do!” Our choice is in the depth of the relationship and how vulnerable we allow ourselves to be with other people.
Ice Cream, a Cat, and a Little Girl Named Anna
On a lazy summer day years ago, I glanced out the window to where a little blond-headed girl was sitting on the front porch steps sharing her popsicle with an old yellow cat. The Journals: My Mother’s Gift of Love

If only that were true!
A Nurse Named Ruth
I seem to find things at Antique Shops or Thrift Stores that are unusual or could have sentimental value to someone. One of my discoveries is a nursing license from 1932.
