The last few weeks have been busy filling every nook and corner of the house with pumpkins, scarecrows, turkeys, dried flowers, and anything else that announces “Fall is Here,” the time of harvest and thanksgiving. Whimsical characters greet you at the hallway entry table while some are tucked on shelves or in unexpected places. Throughout the house, floral arrangements have changed from bright summer colors to warm hues of autumn. Some of the floral arrangements were already in place; I just added a few dried flowers, twigs, and fall leaves to change the look.

I was pleasantly surprised that first year of decorating my doorway entrance with such an unusual pumpkin how many compliments, comments, and questions I received about the pumpkin!”
