We have a seasonal creek that runs through our property at the back. It is a quiet place where the world stands still even if just for a moment.

I enjoy the way the creek changes with each season, offering a totally different look with the changing foliage around it. Along the bank of the creek, you will find trees with moss, wild flowers, ferns, and the signs of prints left in the soft dirt from deer drinking from the water. The rocks found in and on the banks of the creek are worn from the water flowing over and around them, creating some interest in their shapes.
