1/2 lb. bacon, fried and chopped
1 onion, chopped and sautéed in the bacon drippings
3 gloves of garlic, chopped and sautéed with the onion
1/2 cup wild rice, cooked
1 can cream of potato soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cans evaporated milk
1 cup diced Velveeta cheese
* Also can add whole milk to make the soup the consistency that you prefer
Mix together all ingredients and heat until hot and cheese is melted.
Note: I usually double the recipe and use 3 cups of cooked rice. This soup is great to freeze in individual servings (or for 2) and serve at a later date.
