TODAY I AM THANKFUL for floors to sweep and mop, clothes to wash and a washer that helps to get the job done; food to cook and a table to serve it on, beds to change and clean sheets to sleep on tonight; and, last, a recliner where I can rest my tired body after all this work. But, if I didn’t have the house, then I would be tired emotional trying to figure out these things: Where will I sleep tonight? Where will I find food to eat? Will I be safe from storms or crime? So, humbly I thank God for my life.

I pray for those who are struggling, longing for just one bite of food, a safe place for their children, and a shelter from the storms of life. God help us to never take for granted the things with which we have been entrusted and enjoy each day. Everything in our life could change in a moment. Be thankful for the moment you live in. Enjoy life. And, thank God for His provisions.
