1 cup light corn syrup
2 tbsp. butter or margarine
4 cups Trix cereal
½ cup (or more) creamy peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Butter 9x9x2 pan. Heat syrup and butter in 2 qt. saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter. Stir until smooth. Mix in cereal until well coated. Spread in pan. Refrigerate 30 minutes. Cut in squares.
