My golden retriever has the best outlook on life. She thinks everyone loves her! She gets so excited when someone comes for a visit. If they walk out the door and return five minutes later, she treats them with all the excitement as if she hasn’t seen them in a year.

Some people are not dog lovers; she understands that fact and is patient with them. She stays close, waiting until they are ready.

She doesn’t do things for doggy treats; she just wants to know that she is loved and that is good enough for her.
