While living in Minnesota, I met someone who became one of my closest friends while there and we have continued to enjoy our friendship through the years. She made this one cold, snowy night as together, with our husbands, we watched movies. Fond memories!<\/p>\n<p>Adjust cooking times if needed; humid weather results in a stickier caramel corn.<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients and Instructions<\/h2>\n<p>7-8 quarts <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">popped<\/span> corn<\/p>\n<p>1 cup brown sugar<br \/>1 tsp. vinegar<br \/>\u00bc cup dark corn syrup<br \/>1 stick butter<\/p>\n<p>Mix above ingredients except popped corn in a microvave safe glass dish and microwave on high. When mixture begins to boil, time for 2 minutes. Remove from microwave and add \u00bd tsp. baking soda. Stir well and pour over popped corn, stirring well to cover all of the popcorn.<\/p>\n<p>Fold top of bag to secure and place bag in microwave. Cook 1 \u00bd minutes x 3. After each 1 \u00bd minute, shake bag and turn to another position in microwave. After the third 1 \u00bd minute, remove from microwave and pour out onto waxed paper. I love to write, sew, quilt, craft, cook, paint, and always looking for new ideas to make or share. I love to use my camera to capture life and tell a story through pictures. I have a web and graphic design business that keeps me busy, but I love my work and enjoy interacting with my clients as together we see their vision become a reality. More than anything, my greatest passion is serving God in a way that others see Him through me.
