Since I enjoy journaling and recycling old books, I took a break from my cleaning to search for inspiration on how to use the old dictionary. I found this video, and I can hardly wait to finish my cleaning project to create a book of art from the old dictionary.<\/p>\n<p>One of the first discovery on my internet search is a video packed full of great ideas and tips. I\u00a0will use this video for inspiration. Take a break from your busy schedule and see for yourself why I am so excited to have found this! I especially like the section titled <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foundonbrighton.com\/2015\/01\/meandering-1132015-and-dlp.html?m=1\" target=\"_blank\">Documented Life Projects<\/a>. She wrote about everyday life and penned her beautiful, heartfelt prayers. <a href=\"https:\/\/sandiherron.com\/blog\/the-journals\/\">&#8220;My Mother&#8217;s Journals: A Gift of Love.&#8221;<\/a> We never know how life can change in a moment&#8217;s time and the things we leave behind have a healing and nurturing impact on those\u00a0we love. Keep a journal. I am so thankful my mother did!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Just a Thought<\/strong><em>: When my children were small, the day to day challenge of being a young mother often sent me in tears to the rocking chair on my porch. I would write and through my journaling and prayers, I often found the answers and the strength to pull myself up by my &#8220;bootstraps&#8221; and try again. Today, reading what I wrote during those times, I laugh at myself for what I thought at the moment was important. At the time, I did not have the knowledge or the experience to know what mattered. Without my journals, I am not sure I would remember the challenges I faced during early motherhood. My prayer has always been that my children would remember the things I did right and forget my failures. When there is so much good in life, and we have many wonderful memories, we all tend to forget.
