After researching, I discovered it is in the Morning Glory family. Often called the Hummingbird Flower, I soon discovered why! The hummingbirds love it as well as the bees and butterflies. <\/p>\n<p>It is an annual that comes back each year from the seeds that have fallen to the ground. I have read that it can be invasive but I have only one area where this has been growing for over two years. When the season comes to an end in the fall of the year, I simply remove the vines that have died back. The seeds spout in the spring for a late summer bloom and continues to bloom until late fall in our area. This past year I harvested some of the seeds to share with garden friends.<\/p>\n<p>I think it would be beautiful on a trellis. It likes to climb! <\/p>\n<p>What experience do you have with this vine?
