Years ago in the southern part of Alabama, we traveled through Eufaula where I fell in love with the town and its history. One of my favorite places we visited was an area where two old churches still stand side by side.<\/p>\n

In the same area where I found these churches, I discovered an old grist mill, service station with pumps still standing, and a country store with an interesting door sign. One of my favorite finds was what I call “Coke in the Dirt” picture. Years and years of popping those coke bottles, the caps landing in the dirt, packed down over and over by vehicles, rusted with time.<\/p>\n

 l love traveling the back roads and finding the unexpected or the forgotten!<\/p>\n
