With all the rain lately, followed by beautiful sunshine, it has been a great opportunity for photo shoots. This photo, taken immediately after a storm, is one of my favorites. The beauty of the sun shining behind the dark clouds reminds me of storms in our life. When troubles come, we anxiously wait for the sun to shine again. We are looking for a ray of hope that the storm is over.<\/div>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_root text_exposed\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_root text_exposed\">I enjoy the summer storms, sitting <span class=\"text_exposed_show\">on my porch while listening to the rain as it showers our metal roof. I see&nbsp;<\/span>beauty in the lightening streaking across the sky, and the sound of the thunder makes me feel secure under my roof and in my home.<\/div>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_root text_exposed\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_root text_exposed\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">When the storm is over, the enchanting sound of chirping, happy birds fills the air. A playful squirrel sprints across the wet grass. Everything seems to appear much greener and each flower has exploded with vibrant colors.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_root text_exposed\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_root text_exposed\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">The smell of fresh rain is intoxicating as I close my eyes and breathe it in the clean air. It is a cleansing to me, just as it was to the flowers. I feel so much more alive after a storm!<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_root text_exposed\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_root text_exposed\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Storms remind me that there is always, always something to be thankful for, even in the midst of the storm.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_root text_exposed\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_root text_exposed\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">&#8212; a thankful heart.<\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You can find good in everything and everyone.
