It was such a pleasure to open those handwritten notes and read the sweet comments. It made my day!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>My mom was the best at sending cards. She remembered every occasion for people and never failed to send a card. At times, she sent cards just because she wanted to encourage someone. I wish I was more like her. I&#8217;m afraid I fit in today&#8217;s norm.<\/p>\n<p>The cards I received were a reminder to me to not forget that the small things in life (like sending a card) sometimes make such an impact on people&#8217;s life. I think I need to start sending handwritten cards more often. I want people to open their mailbox and be encouraged like I was.<\/p>\n<div>&nbsp;I keep the cards I receive in a box (My Happy Box), and on some days, I read them all over again and think of the people who took the time to send a note. Call me crazy, but I still have birthday cards from my childhood, graduation cards, wedding, and cards at the birth of my children.
