We created this light and simple dessert, a variation of an old family recipe, with my son-in-law in mind who loves lemon desserts. Each holiday or family gathering, this is always served just for him.<\/p>\n

Easy to make and beautiful to serve, this lemon dessert is light, zesty, and perfect for any occasion, from casual gatherings to elegant celebrations.<\/p>\n

Lemon Cups. A Quick and Easy Dessert<\/b><\/h1>\n

1<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>(8 oz.) package<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>cream cheese, room temperature (See note)<\/span><\/p>\n

1<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>(14 oz.) can<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>sweetened condensed milk<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2153<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>cup<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>lemon juice (fresh or bottled)<\/span><\/p>\n

1 pkg. graham crackers (for garnish)<\/p>\n

\u00bd<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>cup<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>whipped cream for topping<\/span><\/p>\n

Zest of 1 lemon (1 tsp. for filling and some for garnish)<\/span><\/p>\n

Beat together cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk until smooth and creamy. Add lemon juice and zest. Beat until well blended. Pour into ramekins or small serving cups. <\/span><\/p>\n

Chill in refrigerator until set. <\/span><\/p>\n

When ready to serve, top with a dollop of whipped cream, then garnish with a sprinkling of crushed graham cracker crumbs and lemon zest. <\/span><\/p>\n

Variation<\/strong>: Serve with shortbread cookie instead of graham crackers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> For best results, use full fat cream cheese, not reduced fat.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Lemon Supreme Pound Cake<\/h2>\n

Original recipe using Duncan Hines Deluxe Supreme Cake Mix<\/em><\/p>\n

1 package Duncan Hines Deluxe II Lemon Supreme Cake Mix<\/p>\n

1 package lemon instant pudding mix (4 serving size)<\/p>\n

\u00bd cup Crisco oil<\/p>\n

1 cup water<\/p>\n

4 eggs<\/p>\n

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.<\/p>\n

Blend all ingredients in a large bowl; beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.<\/p>\n

Bake in a greased and floured tube pan, 10-inch or fluted for 45-55 minutes, until center springs back when touched lightly.<\/p>\n

Cool right side up in pan for about 25 minutes, then invert onto serving plate.<\/p>\n

Glaze<\/h2>\n
