Yesterday, one of my cats captured a squirrel. R.I.P. little squirrel… My other cat took the squirrel away from the first cat. Then, Bear, our chocolate lab came along and took the squirrel from the second cat. Then, a dog that lives down the road came wandering through our yard and managed somehow to take the squirrel away from Bear, running across the road into another neighbor’s yard with his stolen prize. Now, my 3 (Bear and the 2 cats) are sitting in the front yard, just watching the neighbors dog with what originally belonged to them. With our underground fence, our 3 could do nothing but watch and drool… The food chain principle didn’t apply in this situation… The neighbor’s dog was a thief.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
